What’s left to conquer, the emotions we foster.
Denying and supplying our fear cycle.
While propping up the fake, golden idols.

Driving fast through each endless day.
We provide and claim we survive.
Inside and out while pushing all feelings aside.

The monsters we make now sit beside our saints.
And the choices we made feed the monsters of fate.
The monsters inside where the saints run to hide.
Each lighting up their lonely way while we’re fading to grey.

That lets you know that they’re near.
As we fall further behind.
Chasing our demons still trapped inside.

The monsters we make, now sit beside our saints.

We’re standing knee deep in these hurricane waters.
Building walls around our heads taller and taller.
